Graham Cracker Crust

Graham cracker crust is a perfect alternate to typical crust.

Ingredients
  

  • 10 whole graham crackers
  • 5 tbsp unsalted butter melted & cooled
  • 3 tbsp granulated sugar

Instructions
 

  • Heat oven to 325 degrees F and position rack so it is in the middle of the oven.
  • Using a food processor, pulse the graham crackers to an even crumb (like breadcrumbs), about 15-20 pulses.
  • Add melted butter and sugar over the graham crackers, pulse about 5 times until combined.
  • In pie pan, sprinkle the graham cracker mixture and then use a measure cup to press the crumb evenly on the bottom and sides of pan.
  • Cover with plastic wrap and freeze for 15 minutes.
  • Remove plastic wrap prior to baking and bake for 15-18 minutes until fragrant and crust has browned.
